Join our exciting combined acting, dance, and performance class that offers a rich experience in musical theater and Broadway repertoire. Participants will learn music and choreography, engage in acting games, and build confidence and charisma in a creative environment! No prior experience in theatre is required.


Attire: Comfortable athletic attire or athleisure, closed-toed tennis shoes, or jazz shoes.

Join our COMBO dance class that blends movement, choreography, and across-the-floor progressions in the Broadway and Tap dance styles. This class is designed for young performers who are looking to enhance their dance and acting skills in a supportive theatre environment. Students will wear jazz shoes and tap shoes during class. Attire: Leotard, Dance Shorts/Skirt, Nude Tights, Jazz Shoes, Tap Shoes.


Don’t miss the Parent Observation Class at the culmination of the 8-week session!

Classes include a warm-up,  across the floor exercises and diving into our prop of the day. If students catch on quickly, we choreograph a dance with our props. Class will allow students to freely play with their newfound skills or show off to parents. Dance shoes or socks recommended, and please no very baggy clothing!

Emily Mixon is the founder of Mixon Magic Performing Arts and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theater from The Boston Conservatory. After returning to Pensacola in 2007, Emily began her work in Northwest Florida and beyond as a director, choreographer, performer, and artistic visionary in the theatre and dance community. Before e

Emily Mixon is the founder of Mixon Magic Performing Arts and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theater from The Boston Conservatory. After returning to Pensacola in 2007, Emily began her work in Northwest Florida and beyond as a director, choreographer, performer, and artistic visionary in the theatre and dance community. Before establishing Mixon Magic, she taught and choreographed acting and performance for various ages at institutions such as the Pensacola Children's Chorus, Ballet Pensacola, the Pensacola Opera, and Pensacola State College. Additionally, Emily served as a theater and dance instructor at Escambia High School and was an adjunct professor in the Theater Department at the University of West Florida. At Mixon Magic, she developed a unique, child-focused teaching brand that fosters confidence, charisma, and character in young performers through engaging acting and performance opportunities.

Joe Nierle holds a Master of Theatre Arts Degree from Penn State University and studied acting at prestigious institutions in New York, such as Circle in the Square Theater, Herbert Burghof Studios, and The Actors Playhouse. With extensive experience in professional and community theatres, he has excelled as a director, actor, and playwri

Joe Nierle holds a Master of Theatre Arts Degree from Penn State University and studied acting at prestigious institutions in New York, such as Circle in the Square Theater, Herbert Burghof Studios, and The Actors Playhouse. With extensive experience in professional and community theatres, he has excelled as a director, actor, and playwright. Notably, six of his former students have gone on to have remarkable performances on Broadway in acclaimed shows like Wicked, Mamma Mia, Jekyll and Hyde, Grease, and The Band’s Visit. Joe also showcased his acting talent for two seasons at Le Petit Theater in New Orleans. In the local theatre scene, he directed three productions for Pensacola Little Theatre and highlighted his acting skills in three additional performances. The plays he has written premiered in New York at The Abingdon Theater, Manhattan Rep, and The Duplex, marking significant contributions to the dance and performance arts.

Sara Greene brings fun and play into her creative flow arts classes, using props such as hula hoops, ribbons, plates and circus props as dance and exercise equipment.

Sara loves to perform and is a fire dancer who can be seen at many events in the area.

She previously taught at Milton and is looking forward to meeting her students in Gulf Breeze.

Margie Timmons

Margie Timmons is an award-winning theatre educator with 40 years of experience in teaching, directing, and mentoring students in acting, dance, and performance within the performing arts. A graduate of the University of Alabama with degrees in English and Theatre, she founded the theatre program at Gulf Breeze High School in 1985, where 

Margie Timmons is an award-winning theatre educator with 40 years of experience in teaching, directing, and mentoring students in acting, dance, and performance within the performing arts. A graduate of the University of Alabama with degrees in English and Theatre, she founded the theatre program at Gulf Breeze High School in 1985, where she developed one of the premier high school theatre programs. Following retirement, she returned to the classroom and now teaches at Navarre High School. Margie has been a leader in theatre education across Florida, serving for 30 years on the Florida Theatre Conference Board of Directors, where she coordinated One-Act Competitions and auditions, and served as Secondary Chair for 20 years. She also served as District Chair for Florida Thespians and was involved with the Southeastern Theatre Conference, the Florida State Thespians Board, and the Florida Association for Theatre Educators Board. Additionally, she has worked as Artistic Director and directed numerous shows at Pensacola Little Theatre, as well as summer performances at Pensacola State College. Margie's students have gone on to successful careers in technical theatre, Broadway, Off Broadway, film, television, and the Royal Shakespeare Company. Margie is passionate about developing confident performers and nurturing the next generation of theatre artists.
